Audit > Limited Companies
Companies with a turnover in excess of 5.6 million per annum are required to have a statutory audit in accordance with the Companies Act 2006.
The procedures for conducting an audit are the same whether a large firm of accountants undertakes the work or a small firm. We at C.J. Gardner & Co. pride ourselves in providing a professional service for a competitive fee. C.J. Gardner & Co. are Registered Auditors, authorised by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants to undertake audit work.
Limited companies with a turnover less that 5.6 million per annum are exempt from the statutory audit requirements, unless the gross assets exceed 2.8 million and the number of employees exceeds 50. We provide an alternative report confirming the review of the accounts. This often helps when bank managers need a copy of the accounts to support requests for finance.
